Welcome to the Midlife Bloggers Facebook group! I am so excited you are here and I hope you find all the help and resources you need to take your blog to the next level.

If you are here it’s because you have a blog up and live and you are adding new content each week. You are not quite making money with your blog yet or at least not as much as you would like, and you are ready to kick it up a notch.

A really big, money making, killing it….NOTCH!!!

At this level, you are focusing on money making things. Ad revenue, affiliates, and product creation and everything in-between.

This can be confusing and overwhelming with all the tools that are out there that claim to help.

Below I have my top picks of tools, articles, and courses that are meant to help you begin or increase your income.

Some are free, some are paid but all are approved and owned by me. 🙂

Before diving in, if you are not quite sure of all the ways to make money with your blog, you might want to start here first.

Middle Aged Blogging – How to Make Money On Your Blog

This post explains quickly just how and where you can make money on your blog. I suggest you use as many revenue streams as you can to ensure you always have an income coming in.

 

Creating courses:

Thinkific – This is where you will house and host all of the courses for your blog. You can do video, text or a mixture of both. All courses show up on one landing page which makes it super easy to organize.

 

Creating email sequences for free challenges or paid challenges:

ConvertKit – The email service provider I have used for just shy of 2 years now. Not only does ConvertKit give you the ability to set up multiple forms and opt-ins, but they also have a tagging system that is super simple to use and a great way to target your readers more specifically.

They also have an automation feature that you can use to mix and match forms, sequences, and tags to customize very targeted emails.

ConvertKit might be a bit on the pricey side, but if you are going to invest any money in your blog, this is by far the best place to do so.

Your email list is the secret sauce behind any successful blog and you simply cannot have one without the other.

 

Landing Pages or Sales Pages:

Leadpages – An online tool that allows you to create amazing landing pages using any of the free templates provided or you can make your own from scratch. You can also custom create opt-in boxes that you can use to grow your email list fast. They also now offer Facebook ads that really makes this confusing task much easier to do.

 

Ad Revenue:

Ad Revenue is by far a great way to make money on your blog. If you have over 30,000 sessions a month then you qualify for Mediavine. I love Mediavine and I feel they are a great Ad Company for just about any blogger.

Affiliate Marketing:

This can be a bit tricky but it doesn’t have to be!

Learn the easy way to sell with this course by Carly Campbell called Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers. This was the exact course I used to increase my Amazon sales by 700%. And no, that is not a typo!

She lays it all out in an easy to follow way, which is what I love about her! If you understand a bit about affiliate marketing but you are having a hard time getting results, then this course is better for you.

A more heavy course by Michelle Schroader is called Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. This course is very in-depth and also a lot more of a cost investment as well.

If you are brand new to affiliate marketing, this may be a better investment for you but if you know affiliate marketing but you just need some help, then Carly’s course is the one you need.

 

Gift Guides:

Okay, this is by far the easiest way to bring in a good solid passive income and if you are not doing this yet we need to change that!
